3 days trip around Coromandel

UNTIL NEXT TIME COROMANDEL

                                                                  Accommodation

Taumata homes is the Bach we stayed in. We were very lucky and paid only 60 dollars per night which is amazing considering the fact that it is only two minutes walk from the beach and local cafes. The house was very neat and clean and contained every essential things you need for example towels, coffee, plates, shovels ( for hot water beach), dryer etc. I got to stay in one of the master bedroom with an amazing view that was truly unforgettable and hearing the sound of the waves five o'clock each morning is not something you get to experience in you typical busy city life. overall a very cosy and beautiful Bach and I know if I could I would return back there in a  heartbeat.

Cathedral cove

We headed off to the cove on the second day of our trip. Unfortunately we did not have a car with us therefore had to rent an van. Thankfully Diana from cathedral cove shuttle gave us an discount due to our inconvenience and took us around the cove , ferry terminal and back to our Bach. Diana was a very friendly and approachable local and had a lot of knowledge about the city heritage , landmarks and many more. Keep in mind that you need to hike for 45 mintures to get to the cove therefore good and comfortable shoe is a MUST. also on your way to the cove you can explore other bays and beaches.

Lost spring thermal pools

After the hiking session, we went to the lost thermal pool . It was also another amazing and relaxing experience. The setting  was oh so very beautiful and breath taking. Lost spring thermal pools also offers beauty treatments and other shorts of treats but due to the broke student life, my friends and I only hanged out  at the Geo thermal pool for about two hours. Keep in mind that the location is in central city, called Whitianga (you have to either take the ferry or go on a long drive around hot water beach ) and from there on it's a 10 minute walk to the lost thermal pool.
